I have done a range of promotional photography such as headshots, behind the scenes photography, photoshoots and event photography for charities.
Gig Photography
Capturing live music events is always an exciting and rewarding experience. The challenges of moving subjects, unpredictable lighting, and dynamic environments make it a great opportunity to develop new skills and experiment with different ways of capturing both the performer and the atmosphere. Each artist brings their own unique energy, and finding creative ways to translate that through photography and editing is one of the most enjoyable parts of the process.
Street and Travel Photography
Street photography is where I began. It is how I got to know my camera and learn the fundamentals of photography. On my days off I would wonder around Manchester and find ways to capture the city and the people in it in a different ways. I loved the idea of using architecture, people and lighting to tell visual stories that may otherwise seem mundane.
Street photography increased my confidence both behind the camera and in the edit, and it is what made me fall in love with photography.
Travel photography is about capturing the beauty and essence of a place that may never be experienced the same way again. Each photograph serves as a lasting record, preserving memory and evoking nostalgia. Through my work, I use travel photography to remember not only how a place looked, but how it felt to be there.
football photography
Football photography is an area I am looking forward to gaining more experience in. I love the fast paced, high stakes intensity of a football match, and it is a fun challenge to capture the drama within a still image.
